A day of boutiquing in San Clemente brought about a realization. San Clemente may be incredibly close to the crashing waves...but this is not your typical beach town. San Clemente has an air of rebel confidence that oozes out of every nook and cranny of Del Mar Avenue. One of the best representations of this rock star attitude can be found over at Avenue Accents. This boutique knows it's customer does not want some quiet tank and jeans combo that blends in with the crowd. One look around this bold and blingy boutique, and I could feel myself craving concert tickets, just to warrant some new pieces from this place.

Avenue Accents delivers trendy, night out outfits for both men and women. A great selection of sexy Salvage pieces, perfect for any don't mess with me look, great fitting denim options from Rock Revival and Sang Real, which they restock weekly, and a great smattering of SKY for the girls who know how to get some attention. Although a majority of this seductive shop is dressed up, there are some downtime options that keep an edgy night time look congruent. Studded hoodies and tanks for the ladies and the real deal cowboy boots and blinged out belts make this boutique a one stop spot.

A bit of boutiquing wisdom...don't let the kick ass attitude of this boutique intimidate you. Owner, Karen, is extremely approachable and fun, and the other shoppers all seemed genuinely thrilled to be stepping up their San Clemente edge under her keen style guidance.
