When I think of the name Jenny, I think of the sweet girl next door. Jenny G Boutique on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore is one of those boutiques you can walk into and easily make an assumption that like the girl next door, it's just cute. But wait ladies... this Jenny has more to reveal. Wrapped ankle strapped gladiators with studs, wooden platforms and bamboo wedges fanned out across the front table and bold colored cotton dresses from Lani and Danny Fashions had me thinking trendy casual. Then moving further into the boutique I found an arrangement of Love Stitch ruffled tops, business perfect pencil skirts and striped silk dresses by Casting which made me think office chic. Then I hear April squeal with excitement 3 racks down, "ooooh pin up glamour!" and I realize this boutique is uhhhhh lot more than JUST cute, it caters to all occasions including captivating cocktail dresses.

The rack that elicited such a reaction from April looked like a rolling rack you'd find at a Carmen Electra, Marilyn Monroe or Kim Kardashian's photo shoot...the ultimate creations in celebrating the female form...retro glam dresses from Stop Staring. From svelte to sexy to "stop starring" at me stunning, these vintage inspired dresses have been featured in Oprah magazine, People, Life & Style and Elle, all hailing their figure forming and flattering fit for sizes petite to full figured (Paris Hilton got a pink dress to match her pink Bentley...rough, I know).

Oversized handbags, suede clutches, crystal studded havianas, metal-clasp waist cinching belts, tube tops in every color of the rainbow and straw fedoras were just a few of the abundant accessories available at Jenny G's. Golf ball size epoxy flower rings, gem stone wire wrapped pendants, brilliant chandelier earrings and multi strand wrist adornments were all very inexpensive and perfect for small gifts. Who doesn't love flirty little intimates under their casual, corporate or cocktail attire?!... Jenny G has a complete selection of Honey Dew lace hipsters, bras and panties in a sorbet of colors, from tangerine and green apple to raspberry and lemon polka dots.

April and I are absolute customer service connoisseurs. We've reviewed over 80 boutiques in Orange County, let's just say we've see it all and know exactly what to look for. When we get ooey gooeyed by a boutique, we don't want to leave and that's THE mark of a memorable shop girl. Tiffany at Jenny G Boutique made us want to stay! I would have sworn she owned the boutique from her first welcoming hello to genuine conversation and excitement to share her favorite pieces. Jenny G is sure to deliver a comfortable boutiquing experience with clothing functional and fashionable for the many layers of life.
