As soon as I heard the meaning behind the name of this boutique, I knew owners Dana and Laura were on my side...basically, they realized that "Laguna Supply" looks like it could be anything on the credit card statement...anything but cute clothing from a boutique:) That means - no questions from the husband...in fact he may even think it was his charge - great idea ladies!! There is another great reason this new boutique on the block lives up to its name - the consistent supply of classic basic pieces with an iressistably trendy touch. This boutique makes even a local girl feel like she is on a relaxed beach getaway - lured off the pavement by the casual display of distressed denim, so soft cotton tanks, and jaunty straw fedoras that make bad hair days oh so good. The rustic feeling in this boutique conjures up images of lazy beach vacations where the most energy one spent was climbing into a hammock and bonding with a book.

I realized as I shopped this shop, absolutely everything in here would look better with a bathing suit under it. Luckily they stock great basic with a twist suits by Laguna Beach based Vitamin A. Topping off a bikini with great slouchy denim shorts, and a better than your average button down would be a cinch - denim options range from shorty short to comfy rolled relaxed styles by Current/Elliot and Laguna Supply is the self professed go to shop for boyfriend style button downs. My favorite was a great not so perfect classic white style from See by Chloe. Other standouts from Elizabeth and James promised style with a dash of irreverance. For those of us who spend Memorial Day to Labor Day in a dress, Laguna Supply delivers. I couldn't resist trying on an adorable and unique silk dress from Twinkle by Wenlan, an authentic Indian tunic, and the most amazing yellow sundress from See by Chloe (see it in the video below).

Laguna Supply has certainly established itself as the shop on the corner with all the trappings for enviable getaway style. Possibly the only thing I found to be more charming than the boutique itself, was the wise conversation of the barber shop next door...they share an entry way, and ladies...I can vouch for the fact that we are not the only ones who tell their hairdressers everything;)
