A boutiquing trip to San Clemente would not be complete without a stop into the largest women's boutique on the block, Bliss. Enticing window displays filled with feminine clothing and an entrance lined with glass jewelry cases lured me in immediately. Bliss is a surprisingly large boutique, full of high end department store designers, with a truly personal feel. Among dresses pretty enough to flaunt at any Summer soiree, denim for a multitude of body shapes, and basics that we all know are the building blocks of great style, Bliss is a rare boutique that serves almost any style sensibility.
The focus in this boutiquing spot is certainly on quality and well edited pieces by established designers. I fell in love with a black vest by Bailey 44, their basic designs throw a curve ball like a sheer lace back that edges up a simple piece. Bliss also has a nice collection of Nanette Lepore and Trina Turk both of which inspire ladylike style. Their accessories are also classic and collectible, lovely leather by Kooba, creative carryalls by Isabella Fiore, and beachy baubles by Lori Lori.
When I stopped in last, Bliss had two sale areas, the back rack was all 50% off, and the entire back room was stocked with additional items at a deep discount. Hurry in this weekend...Bliss is offering 25% the entire store May 9th & 10th - just in time for Mother's Day! Make Mom's day, by taking her for a "Bliss-full" shopping spree and a light lunch at one of our favorite hangouts...The Cellar. Sit outside, snack on unique and flavorful cheese plates or handcrafted sandwiches, and enjoy a bit of wine from their spectacular list. Mom will feel celebrated and adored...PROMISE!
